- Many of Ohio's inland lakes and rivers can be dived, including the
Ohio River, but visibility is normally not very good. Check regulations
before attempting to dive any waters controlled by state agencies such as
the State Parks managed by Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Some
require permits and have restricted areas, others are off limits for
diving and swimming altogether. If you know of a nice site that should be
listed, please let us know.
